Untitled Butterfly Forklift Game

The first Constant Slerps Godot game jam, submitted to the Godot Wild Jam #71. We had an awesome time making our little game and we hope you enjoy playing it! It may not be the most polished game, but this was the first time many of us had touched Godot. We welcome any and all feedback! Thanks!

The Story

Some say time extends from a fixed point in the universe. Those who are most familiar with the linearly-perceived superposition of reality would know that time is a warehouse. A warehouse full of matter that must be shifted, scaled and moved into parallel timelines that manifest in this dimension as retail shipping trucks, awaiting the cargo of events that will shape the present. You are a butterfly. A butterfly of chaos. Flap your wings in one part of the warehouse to move the steering wheel that causes a storm of pallets moving in another. Toxic waste and giant mugs in one shipment? This will surely cause unexpected consequences in the great artificially-lit break rooms of well-known parallel realities. Nobody expects the butterfly. Nobody expects the butterfly is Forklift Certified.

Objective

Pick up pallets from anywhere in the warehouse and load them into the trailers at the loading dock. The more you load, the more points you get! And be sure to constantly remind all of your friends that you're forklift certified!

Forklift Hints!

• Remember to raise your fork off the floor before moving
• If your pallet becomes loose, use a wall to push it back on
• Check your alignment before fetching a pallet
  
• Try using your brake to help drift around corners
• Drive slowly when your fork is extended, you may tip over!
